In this part of Texas, it is hard to find outdoor spaces that offer the beauty of a spring bloom and the quietness of nature undisturbed by the noise of highways, commerce, and everyday human existence around us. For me, undisturbed solitude is a precious thing for peacefully analyzing my inner self, meditating on life, and communing with God, and the scent of lavender is a nice contribution to the stillness.
